Susac lighthouse was built in 1878 on the highest point of the extremely steep southern side of the island, where there are numerous cliffs jetting out of the deep crystal clear sea. The lighthouse building lies at a height of 100 m and offers views of the endless open sea. The lighthouse is a stone, ground-floor building with two four-bed apartments. There is a berth where smaller boats can be pulled out in the vicinity of the lighthouse.

Beach:

On the island of Sušac, there are several beaches that are not suitable for small children. However, there is a pretty pebble beach distant approximately 1 km from the lighthouse.

Transfer Vela luka - Susac - Vela luka is organized by speed-boats of Mediterano travel agency. Return transfer is charged extra and lasts 90 minutes.

Island Sušac
Sušac, meaning dry island, Italian: Cazza, Latin: Choasa) is a small rocky island in the Adriatic Sea with an area of 4.03 km2, and 16.4 km[1] of coastline southwest of Korčula and Lastovo, on the halfway to the island of Vis, in Croatia. The coast consists of slopes and cliffs over 100 m tall, but the opposite side features a natural harbour. A 19th-century lighthouse is built on top of the island. The island is also known for its little lake, which is connected to the sea through a siphon 15 m deep.
